Prioritizing Your Mental Health

While much of the focus of health is on the outside with physical health, we also need to ensure we are focusing on our mental health.

Mental health contributes to our decision-making process, how we cope with stress, and how we relate to others in our lives. It is a vital part of our life that impacts thoughts, behaviors, and emotions.

Here are some tips that may help you prioritize your mental health during these uncertain times:

1) Get a good night’s sleep – if our sleep is not right, nothing is right.

2) Open up to others in your life

  – to those that understand you and will not judge you.

3) Exercising – do something you enjoy and make it fun!

4) Gratefulness – Saying out loud daily 1 thing you are grateful for

5) Eating a balanced and healthy diet- food fuels us and our engines need to be fed right function at our best.

Let’s take the time to work on ourselves from the inside as well as the outside, so we can continue to shine even during these uncertain and stressful times.
