– Mary Oliver
What I want in my life is to be willing to be dazzled…To cast aside the weight of the facts and maybe even float a little above this difficult world.
I set goals with my clients and reach them, act as a believer when they cannot or will not believe in themselves, and provide structured out-of-session assignments to achieve solid, long-lasting, and generalizable results.
Alex’s clients benefit from her expertise and training within the following therapy models: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy training completed at Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Bala Cynwood, PA;
Family Based Treatment for Adolescents with Anorexia Nervosa (ie The Maudsley Approach) training completed at Institute for Child and Adolescent Eating Disorders, Teaneck, NJ;
Parent-Child Interaction Therapy Certification training completed through PCIT International; Alex is a PCIT Certified Therapist; Dialectical Behavior Therapy Intensive training completed at Behavioral Tech – A Linehan Institute; NY, NY

"Alex is very understanding, reliable and non-judgmental. She never pressures you into doing anything or talking about anything that you're not comfortable with.
