Success is a journey, not a destination. The doing is often more important than the outcome.

I would love to schedule a complimentary 15-minute consultation call with YOU!

I’m 100% committed to doing everything I can to help you change your life for the better. I am immensely dedicated to my clients and I want nothing more than to see you step out of your comfort zone and thrive! Timing is everything and the most important question to ask yourself is are you committed to working on yourself at this time?

When we work together, we will be striving for big changes—life-altering changes. I’m not satisfied with small changes and I don’t think you are either. I’m ready to help you start making dramatic shifts, which will truly transform your life for the better if that is what you desire.

I want big things for your life and I would welcome the opportunity to assist in getting you there. I want you to get results in a timely fashion in order to use the momentum created to keep striving for more. Living the meaningful, amazing life you’ve dreamed of and DESERVE is within reach.

Am I checking all the right boxes for you?

I will work with you to explore some of those topics that have been on the ‘Do Not Discuss’ list for way too long. I enjoy nothing more in my practice than working with others to vision paint various possibilities and transformations that are waiting for the individual, sometimes just within reach. At times, it is just a matter of working through getting out of your own way. There is no better time to start dreaming again than NOW!

I have a license to practice psychology in the state of Pennsylvania (PA). I am additionally licensed in 31 states, under PSYPACT. If you are not located in PA & you are interested in meeting virtually, Click Here to see what states participate.

I try to be the best version of myself each day. This takes daily practice and effort and some days are more difficult than others. And I know that’s probably what your days are like too at times. I can help you be the best version of yourself if this is what you desire. We are often more powerful than we allow ourselves to believe.

I believe that it is the small shifts in what a person does daily that makes all the difference in achieving what they desire most in life. The dramatic shifts are at times necessary, but celebrating small positive change is essential, really a requirement!

I will help you see ways in which you have been showing up in your life and through our work together you will decide if that is leading you toward or away from what you desire most.

As you go about the process of deciding if I am the right psychologist for you, consider the following:

How Dr. Silverman uses technology in her practice to assist clients in moving them forward in their life faster!

Dr. Silverman’s tips on how to reduce anxiety as life resumes post-COVID-19 in the Philadelphia Inquirer.

When I am not assisting others in finding value in their lives, I like to spend my time reading, learning to play the keyboard, baking chocolate chip banana bread, staying up too late, nurturing my 3 kids not only to pursue their passions but also to be well-rounded kind humans, and literally soaking up any new skill or knowledge that will assist me to help the next person I come into contact with.

"...She has an almost supernatural ability to anticipate and solve problems before they happen..."

"I wholeheartedly agree that Dr. Silverman empowers those around her every day – as an expert individual and group psychologist, a devoted clinical supervisor, and an endlessly supportive colleague. I would like to add that she also has an almost supernatural ability to anticipate and solve problems before they happen – I have stopped questioning how she does this and learned to just listen to her wisdom!"

"...She models growth and learning in herself and empowers others to do the same...."

“I have had the pleasure of working closely with Dr. Silverman for years in various capacities. It is always a pleasure collaborating with her. She adds invaluable insight. If I had one word to describe Alissa it would be "empowering". She is always supportive and encouraging, and always knows the right thing to say. She models growth and learning in herself and empowers others to do the same. Alissa is one of my most valued and trusted colleagues.”

"...Dr. Silverman is highly dedicated to helping others, especially when they present complex or puzzling issues....."

“Dr. Silverman is highly dedicated to helping others, especially when they present complex or puzzling issues. She seeks collaboration with other mental health professionals to ensure she has developed an in-depth understanding of the issues presented. Dr. Silverman is greatly adept at transforming this understanding into effective strategies that foster fundamental change for her clients.”

"... It is clear she is always thinking of ways to help her clients find solutions to whatever they are encountering in their life......"

"From my initial interaction with Dr. Silverman, I could feel her sincerity in genuinely wanting to help others think and believe in what they are passionate about. It is clear she is always thinking of ways to help her clients find solutions to whatever they are encountering in their life. She even inspired me in our short interaction. I would be extremely pleased to recommend her to anyone that is looking for help from a licensed psychologist.”
