I work with both adults and couples and I take a dynamic approach to therapy, continually adjusting plans to ensure clients achieve their goals. My strengths as a therapist came to life as I honed my ability to support clients using trauma-informed techniques like Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR).

I specialize in working with those who are navigating challenges related to anxiety, depression, relationships, stress, trauma and other big life transitions. I would love nothing more than to help support you in improving your life and your relationships!

I’ve trained in cognitive behavioral techniques, which help me work with the connection between your thoughts, behaviors, and feelings in order to move you toward optimal functioning.

I’m trained in various couple therapy methods and have an eclectic style – utilizing tools from many different schools of thought such as Gottman Methods – which are known to assist couples in improving their relationships with one another.

The fun side of Cecelia: When I’m not collaborating with clients on their goals, I like to snuggle with my cats while sipping a cup of hot tea and reading (psychology-related books, admittedly!). I enjoy devouring podcasts and audiobooks, long-walks, cooking new things, and dinner with friends!
