The Hard Part is Only Just Beginning

While some people want to pretend the hard part of the pandemic is over, the truth is, it’s only just beginning. As we navigate the heavy responsibility of the ethical and moral dilemma in opening our offices, there are many professional & personal factors to consider:

• Are clients ready to come into the office?

• Do you have the option to continue seeing clients from home?

• Will you need to take public transportation to get to the office?

• How much PPE should you wear?

• Do you generally work with high-risk clients?

• Are you high-risk for contracting COVID-19? Do you have immediate family that are high risk?

• If you go back to the office, will you be able to support your children to the level they now require? ‍

• Are you prepared for the range of emotions that come along with going from social isolation to being in the company of others?

While nothing can truly prepare you for what we’re all facing now, there is no right answer. More importantly, no one can tell you what to do. You are the only one who can make the decision, one that works best for you, your practice, your emotional well-being, and your family.
