"Loving ourselves through the process of owning our story is the bravest thing we will ever do."
Personal growth is not always easy; if it were, everyone would embark on the road you are about to take. I already know you are resilient because you have made it this far. The question is: are you ready to truly own your strengths and show up as the person you know you’re meant to be? I am ready to help you grow that belief in yourself!
My clinical training at the University of Pennsylvania is where my strengths as a therapist began to come to life. Over the past decade, I’ve honed my ability to support those looking to make changes to improve their lives.
My intention and commitment to working with you is to be your safe space and to support your efforts in making positive changes in your life. The work we do together will guide you down the path of discovering yourself, understanding the value you bring to all you are doing, and truly believing YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH in all that you want to do and be in your life.
Do you believe I am the best person to guide and support you on your journey of personal transformation? Don't wait! Take that first step toward living your best life today!
If you are trying to determine which thinking styles work best for you and which are impeding you, I can assist in helping you to find the middle ground.
I can support you to:
Processing difficult emotions related to relationships, career, health, life transitions, and loss is the most challenging thing you will ever do. We can do this work together so you don’t have to feel alone as you embark on making changes that work for you in your life.
I have training in a powerful tool called, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). This gem of an intervention will allow you to unleash those things you have been holding onto—possibly for years, and maybe even for decades—that no longer serve you. An option in therapy can be to use EMDR to help you move away from negative thought patterns that are keeping you stuck. We will work together to find the light in you that wants to get out.
Since there is no one-size-fits-all approach to understanding, growth, and self-discovery, my extensive training in several areas of psychological improvement allow me to tailor my approach depending on what you need, as an individual, to get to a better place that you know.
I am extensively trained in various Cognitive Behavioral Therapy models to help you connect your thoughts to your feelings and behaviors to help you move toward your goals. We will work together to find patterns in how you think and do things, and together we will strategize how to make that work better for you in your life.
Develop positive, healthy relationships and navigate tricky ones successfully.
Heal from relationships that no longer serve you
Overcome cycles of self-destructive behavior that are holding you back from reaching your full potential.
Increase your coping skills and feelings of self-worth.
Recover from depressed and anxious thought patterns.
When I'm not assisting my clients in moving toward their goals, you can usually find me hiking, spending time with my daughter, or watering my beloved house plants. I also enjoy spending time walking the Wissahickon with our rescue dog Maggie, working on craft projects, and cooking up elaborate meals! Fun Fact: I have completed over 1,500 miles of the Appalachian Trail.

"I can, without hesitation, highly recommend Kaitlin to anyone who is looking to improve the quality of their life and relationships through therapy. I have known Kaitlin professionally for many years, and she is a very dedicated therapist. Kaitlin is knowledgeable, highly skilled, and extremely caring. I would describe her as an understanding and attuned therapist. She genuinely cares for her clients and tailors her approach to each person’s unique needs and goals."
"...She’s compassionate, a great listener, and she made me feel understood...."
"Working with Kaitlin was, genuinely, life changing. She’s compassionate, a great listener, and she made me feel understood. She never judged me when I was struggling through difficult parts of the therapy process or just struggling! During therapy, she is so relatable and easy to talk to. She taught me beneficial coping skills and challenged me to continue working on them outside of sessions, so I really saw the impact of therapy on my daily life. I truly can’t say enough nice things about Kaitlin and how much working with her has meant to me."
